Sorry but I haven’t read “My Prodigal Son” yet and I didn’t know about this! :(
Is there anyone who can help us?
Okay, let’s do this!
1- Vertigo / Can’t Stand Me Now: Can’t Stand Me Now because this and Don’t Be Shy were the first Libs songs I heard.
2- Death on the Stairs / Last Post on the Bugle: This is a tough one but I think I’ll go for Death on the Stairs. The chords at the beginning, the melody and that guitar solo by Carl are just amazing.
3- Horrorshow / Don’t Be Shy: Don’t Be Shy. For the same reason as number 1.
4- Time for Heroes / The Man Who Would Be King: The Man Who Would Be King. Because it’s one of my favorites.
5- Boys in the Band / Music When the Lights Go Out: Music When the Lights Go Out. Because it’s one of those songs you really feel the love between Peter and Carl.
6- Radio America / Narcissist: Radio America. They had me at the “the poor dancing girl she won’t dance again” line.
7- Up The Bracket / The Ha Ha Wall: Up The Bracket. Why? Peter screaming at the beginning of it.
8- Tell The King / Arbeit Macht Frei: Arbeit Macht Frei. Because it’s badass as fuck.
9- The Boy Looked at Johnny / Campaign of Hate: Campaign of Hate. Because I can relate to the lyrics a lot.
10- Begging / What Katie Did: What Katie Did. I don’t know, I just feel so much love for this one and the way Carl sings it… sigh <3
11- The Good Old Days / Tomblands: The Good Old Days. Definitely my favorite.
12- I Get Along / The Saga: I Get Along. Libs at their finest.
13- What a Waster / Road to Ruin: What a Waster. Punk poetry.
14- Mockingbird / What Became of the Likely Lads: What Became of the Likely Lads. Do I have to say why?
I loved to do this, thank you! xx
